JETZABEL ESCUDERO

Jetzabel Escudero joined the ICBG project in August 2005 as a research assistant to work on extraction and fractionation of samples from terrestrial and marine plants. She received her B.Sc. degree in Chemistry at the University of Panama , Panama (2004). Her undergraduate dissertation project was the analysis of solvent retention to flexible packaging by gas chromatography (Análisis de Retención de Solventes a los Empaques Flexibles por Cromatografía de Gases) under the supervision of professor Orlando Leone ( University of Panama ).

SKILLS AND TRAININGS

She has received industrial training as quality control analyst at Celloprint, S.A. and Industrias Lácteas Estrella Azul in Panama, were she mastered the use and commercial applications of gas chromatography, as well as a wide range of analytical and bromathological methods.
