To create botanical inventories for Protected Areas in Panama. |

To culture and characterize endophytic fungi. |

To prepare organic extracts for use in anticancer and tropical disease bioassay in Panama and for testing by industrial collaborators. |

To maintain a central database of collections, bioassay and chemistry results. |

To conduct outreach activities to disseminate information about Panamanian biodiversity. |

To provide trainning and technology transfer to Panamanians. |
