This
Associate Program consists of two main components:
| A. |
Screening
of natural products for anti-Trypanosoma cruzi and anti-Plasmodium
falciparum activity. Dr. Carmenza Spadafora (INDICASAT). |
|
|
| B. |
Screening
of natural products for anti-Leishmania activity and in
Panama-based 3-cell cancer screens. Dr.
Carmenza Spadafora (INDICASAT). |
Aims:
|
-
|
Testing
of biological materials for activity against the parasites that
cause the tropical diseases: leishmaniasis, malaria,
Chagas'
disease and Cancer. |
|
-
|
Testing
of biological materials for activity against 3 cancer cell lines
. |
|
-
